Welcome to MDesignTruckstyling.com, operated by M Design Truckstyling S.R.L., a company registered in the Republic of Moldova.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, customer accounts, purchases, digital product delivery, licensing, updates, and related services.

Before confirming an order, customers are given the opportunity to review the applicable Terms and the Digital Product License Agreement (EULA).

By placing an order, customers agree to the contractual conditions validly incorporated into that purchase.

The version of these Terms applicable to a completed purchase will not be retrospectively replaced merely because these Terms are subsequently updated.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable law.

TRADEMARKS & BRAND DISCLAIMER

All brand names, trademarks™, registered® marks, logos, and symbols appearing on vehicles, digital products, or promotional materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, their use is for identification, representation, and compatibility purposes and does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

MDT products are independently developed or lawfully distributed digital modifications designed for use with compatible vehicles, trailers, and other content in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

MDT is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by SCS Software unless expressly stated.

1. USE OF WEBSITE

Customers must be at least 18 years old to register and purchase digital products.

Users agree to:

Provide accurate account and billing information.
Use the website only for lawful purposes.
Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Refrain from attempting unauthorized access to accounts, files, payment systems, or website infrastructure.
Avoid fraudulent transactions, account misuse, security circumvention, and activities intended to damage or disrupt the website.

MDT may implement reasonable and proportionate security measures to protect the website, digital products, customer accounts, and payment systems.

Access to certain website functions may be temporarily restricted where necessary for security, fraud prevention, or maintenance.

Such measures will be applied in accordance with applicable law.

2. PRODUCTS & DIGITAL CONTENT

MDT sells electronically delivered digital products, including game modifications, 3D models, vehicle components, accessories, chassis, trailers, lighting systems, configurations, skins, and related content.

No physical products are shipped.

Products may be developed by MDT or published and distributed under authorization from their respective creators or rights holders.

The content included in each purchase is defined by the applicable product description.

Product Images & Demonstration Content

Screenshots, promotional images, videos, and other visual presentations may display additional components that are not included in the purchased product.

These may include:

Optional accessories and additional parts.
Separately distributed MDT products.
Third-party modifications.
Lighting systems and visual effects.
Skins, templates, and customization components.
Free or community-distributed additional content.

Unless expressly included in the product description, these elements are provided for demonstration purposes only.

Customers receive the digital content expressly identified as included in the relevant product description.

Product descriptions, mandatory dependencies, compatibility information, and other material characteristics must accurately reflect the product supplied.

3. ACCOUNT REQUIREMENT & DIGITAL DELIVERY

A registered MDT website account is required to purchase digital products.

Guest checkout is not supported.

Purchases are associated with the customer account and email address used during checkout.

Customers should retain their order confirmations and personal copies of the digital files they receive.

Following successful payment and order processing, the purchased digital product is normally made available through My Account → Downloads.

Order confirmation and relevant purchase information are sent electronically.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining access to their account credentials.

Purchase Verification

MDT may request reasonable and proportionate purchase verification where necessary to:

Identify a legitimate customer.
Restore access to an existing purchase.
Investigate suspected unauthorized account activity.
Prevent fraudulent transactions.
Verify eligibility for available updates or customer-only services.

Purchases made through previously supported sales platforms may be recognized where the original transaction can be verified and is covered by an applicable migration or distribution arrangement.

Download Availability

MDT provides eligible customers with access to currently available downloadable versions of their purchased products through the official website.

Unless expressly promised otherwise, a purchase does not include a guarantee of permanent website hosting, unlimited online storage, or the indefinite availability of every previous product release.

Previous versions may no longer be available after being replaced by updated releases.

Requests concerning earlier releases may be assessed according to verified purchase records, technical availability, the original contractual conditions, and applicable legal requirements.

This provision does not remove contractual delivery obligations, statutory conformity requirements, or other mandatory consumer rights.

Where a particular file, corrective measure, or method of access is legally required as a remedy, MDT will handle the request in accordance with the applicable obligations.

4. PRODUCT FORMAT, COMPATIBILITY & UPDATES

4.1 Supported Game Versions

MDT products are developed for the specific game version or versions expressly indicated in the relevant product description.

MDT primarily develops and maintains its products for currently supported game versions.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 and its updates are developed independently by SCS Software.

Game updates may introduce technical changes affecting the functionality and compatibility of third-party modifications.

Compatibility with the following is not guaranteed unless expressly stated:

Earlier game versions.
Future game versions.
Experimental or beta game versions.
Unsupported software configurations.
Unspecified third-party modifications.

A product must conform to the compatibility information and other requirements applicable to the purchase, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.

4.2 Product Updates, Maintenance & Improvements

MDT distinguishes between two main categories of product updates.

Compatibility & Maintenance Updates

Compatibility and maintenance updates may be released to maintain or restore functionality with supported game versions, correct technical issues, or adapt existing products to changes introduced by the game developer.

Game updates may modify technical parameters, configuration systems, file structures, vehicle definitions, accessories, lighting systems, or other components affecting third-party modifications.

Restoring compatibility may therefore require substantial technical changes rather than simply changing the supported game version.

MDT does not control the development, release schedule, or technical changes introduced by the game developer.

The availability and timing of compatibility updates may depend on technical feasibility, testing requirements, product complexity, and changes to the game’s underlying systems.

Feature & Improvement Updates

Feature and improvement updates may introduce:

New accessories or additional 3D components.
Additional customization options.
New configurations or functionality.
Visual improvements.
Performance optimizations.
Other enhancements to existing products.

Feature and improvement updates are developed and released at MDT’s discretion, except where a specific feature or update has been contractually promised or is required by applicable law.

Combined Updates

A single MDT product update may include both compatibility or maintenance changes and new or improved features.

A compatibility update may therefore introduce improvements, while a feature update may also require technical adjustments to support a newer game version.

Update Availability

When MDT releases an update for an eligible purchased product, it is generally made available without requiring an additional purchase, unless a separate commercial release or other arrangement has been clearly disclosed.

Purchasing an MDT product does not create an unconditional entitlement to:

Unlimited future updates.
Indefinite product development.
New features or additional accessories.
Compatibility with every future game version.
Permanent maintenance of obsolete game versions.
A guaranteed update release schedule.

Not every product will necessarily receive an update for every subsequent game release.

Different products may require different development and testing periods, and some products may no longer be technically maintainable.

Nothing in this section excludes updates necessary to maintain contractual conformity, remedies required by applicable consumer protection laws, or obligations expressly promised in the original purchase agreement.

4.3 Replacement of Previous Versions

When MDT releases an updated version of a product, the previously available downloadable file is normally replaced with the latest available release.

MDT does not routinely maintain or provide a customer-accessible archive of previous product versions.

Newer releases may no longer be compatible with earlier game versions, particularly where changes introduced by the game developer require modifications to the original product.

Customers are encouraged to download and retain personal backup copies of the versions they lawfully obtain.

Reasonable personal backup copies are permitted for the customer’s own licensed use, subject to the Digital Product License Agreement (EULA) and applicable law.

Customers who choose to continue using an older game version should be aware that a compatible older product file may no longer be available for download.

MDT does not undertake to restore, recreate, or provide obsolete product releases solely because a customer prefers to use an unsupported game version, unless required by the applicable purchase agreement or mandatory law.

The replacement or removal of a previous downloadable version does not eliminate statutory conformity obligations or other mandatory remedies associated with the original purchase.

4.4 Third-Party Mods & Required Dependencies

Certain MDT products are add-ons and require additional products to function correctly.

These may include paid or free modifications developed by MDT or independent third-party developers.

Mandatory dependencies must be clearly identified in the relevant product description before purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, required third-party modifications are not included in the MDT purchase.

An MDT add-on designed for a specific third-party truck, trailer, or modification does not automatically support other versions, models, or alternatives.

Customers must use the supported base product and follow the compatibility and installation requirements identified in the product description.

MDT does not control independent third-party developers or guarantee the permanent availability, pricing, functionality, or future updates of their products.

Changes or discontinuation of a third-party dependency may affect the functionality of an MDT add-on.

However, third-party dependencies and limitations do not remove MDT’s responsibility for the conformity of its own products under applicable law.

4.5 Installation & Technical Requirements

Products may be supplied in .zip, .scs, .rar, or other clearly identified digital formats.

Additional extraction software may be required.

Products are primarily intended for the Windows version of the supported game, unless otherwise stated.

Customers should review the product-specific technical requirements, supported game versions, installation instructions, and required dependencies before purchasing or installing a product.

Customers should follow the instructions supplied with each product, including any required load order, configuration, and dependency requirements.

Incorrect installation, duplicate mod files, unsupported configurations, or conflicts with external modifications may affect functionality.

When installing an updated version, customers should normally remove previous versions of the same mod unless the product instructions expressly state otherwise.

MDT may request testing on a clean game profile to investigate technical issues and determine their cause.

5. PAYMENTS & ORDERS

All product prices are displayed in EUR (€) unless otherwise indicated.

Prices and promotional offers may change for future orders without affecting the agreed price of an already completed purchase.

Any applicable taxes, additional fees, or other mandatory charges must be disclosed before the customer confirms the order.

No physical shipping charges apply to electronically delivered products.

Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payment must normally be completed before digital delivery.

The applicable product price and promotional conditions are those communicated before the customer confirms the purchase.

Order Verification & Fraud Prevention

MDT may conduct reasonable transaction reviews and take appropriate action where there are objective grounds to suspect:

Unauthorized payments.
Fraudulent transactions.
Misuse of payment accounts.
Circumvention of lawful account restrictions.
Abuse of the purchasing or download system.
Attempts to obtain digital products through deceptive or unauthorized means.

MDT may refuse future orders or cancel transactions where legally and contractually permitted.

If an order is lawfully cancelled after payment has been collected and the purchased content has not been supplied, any refund owed will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

The availability of a payment method does not alter the customer’s license obligations or mandatory consumer rights.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RESTRICTIONS

MDT retains intellectual property rights in the original content it develops.

Where products contain content developed or licensed by third parties, the relevant intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners.

Purchasing a digital product grants the customer a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for its intended purpose, as described in the Digital Product License Agreement (EULA).

The purchase does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, or ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

Prohibited Activities

Unless expressly authorized in writing or permitted by mandatory law, customers may not:

Share, resell, redistribute, trade, gift, or transfer purchased product files to third parties.
Upload or reupload MDT products to third-party websites, download services, or file-sharing platforms.
Include MDT products in public or private mod packs, custom launchers, or unauthorized distribution systems.
Distribute MDT products to other users through a Virtual Trucking Company (VTC), Discord server, community, or group.
Offer MDT products as prizes, rewards, giveaways, or incentives.
Extract, modify, or repurpose MDT content for unauthorized redistribution.
Present MDT products or protected components as their own creations.
Sell access to MDT products through unauthorized third-party services.
Knowingly provide purchased MDT files or download access to persons who do not hold the required license.

Personal backups are permitted as specified in the EULA.

Violations may result in appropriate copyright enforcement, lawful account restrictions, or other remedies available under applicable law.

The EULA forms part of the applicable product license agreement.

7. ANTI-LEAK, UNAUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTION & ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS

7.1 Unauthorized Redistribution

Unauthorized sharing, leaking, resale, or redistribution of MDT products is prohibited.

Customers may not knowingly facilitate, encourage, or participate in the unauthorized distribution of MDT product files through third-party communities or services.

This includes unauthorized distribution through:

Mod-leaking servers or communities.
File-sharing services and download platforms.
Discord servers and other communication groups.
Virtual Trucking Companies (VTCs) or other gaming organizations.
Custom launchers or private distribution systems.
Reward, ranking, points, giveaway, or incentive systems.

A points or rewards system does not authorize the distribution of commercially licensed MDT products.

Every user requiring a personal MDT license must obtain that license legitimately.

7.2 Communities, Servers & Virtual Trucking Companies

MDT prohibits customers from knowingly sharing or distributing its digital products through communities, servers, groups, or Virtual Trucking Companies (VTCs) engaged in unauthorized distribution of paid modifications.

Customers may not actively facilitate, organize, promote, or participate in the unauthorized redistribution of MDT products.

Using a legitimately purchased product for its licensed purpose is not, by itself, a violation merely because the customer belongs to an unrelated third-party community.

Communities that officially partner with, promote, or collaborate with unauthorized paid-content distribution networks may be considered relevant when investigating suspected misuse or violations of MDT’s distribution rules.

Mere membership in a third-party community does not, by itself, establish that a customer has personally redistributed MDT content.

MDT may review credible and relevant evidence of prohibited conduct and take proportionate action in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

MDT does not undertake to disclose confidential security methods, personal data relating to other users, or non-public investigative material, except where disclosure is legally required.

MDT is not required to publish an exhaustive or permanently updated list of communities associated with unauthorized distribution activities.

Any restrictions affecting an existing product license, paid download access, or mandatory contractual rights must have an appropriate legal or contractual basis.

7.3 Account Reviews & Restrictions

Where credible evidence indicates suspected fraud, unauthorized distribution, or contractual violations, MDT may review the relevant customer account.

Depending on the circumstances, the available evidence, and applicable law, measures may include:

Temporary account review.
Additional identity or purchase verification.
Restrictions on new purchases.
Temporary security measures.
Restrictions on separately distributed optional content or services.
Restrictions on future downloads or updates where legally permitted.
Appropriate copyright enforcement or legal proceedings.

Measures will be based on the nature and seriousness of the suspected violation and the available evidence, taking into account contractual obligations and mandatory legal safeguards.

Customers may contact MDT to request clarification or review of a restriction.

A community membership issue does not automatically establish that the customer personally redistributed MDT content.

Restrictions affecting existing contractual rights or termination of a product license require a valid legal or contractual basis.

Nothing in this section excludes mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

7.4 Official MDT VTC Partnerships

A Virtual Trucking Company (VTC) or other community is recognized as an official MDT partner only where the partnership has been publicly confirmed or announced through an authorized official MDT communication channel.

Statements by third parties claiming special permission, a private arrangement, or an official relationship with MDT or its representatives do not independently establish an official partnership.

No person or organization may falsely represent itself as an authorized MDT partner or distributor.

MDT may take appropriate action against misleading or unauthorized representations of partnership or endorsement.

8. COPYRIGHT PROTECTION & ENFORCEMENT

MDT respects the intellectual property rights of developers, designers, creators, and other rights holders.

Original MDT content and other protected material distributed under authorization are subject to applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized copying, resale, uploading, or redistribution may constitute copyright infringement.

Where appropriate, MDT may:

Submit copyright takedown notices.
Report unauthorized distribution to hosting providers or platforms.
Submit intellectual property complaints to relevant service providers.
Request removal of infringing material.
Pursue available legal remedies.

DMCA procedures may be used where applicable, including through platforms subject to United States copyright law.

Other applicable national or international enforcement procedures may also be used.

Copyright complaints relating to material published on the MDT website may be submitted through the company’s official contact channels.

9. REFUND & RETURNS POLICY – DIGITAL GOODS

9.1 Nature of Digital Products

MDT products are electronically supplied digital content and are not delivered on a physical medium.

Before purchasing, customers should review the product description, supported game versions, required dependencies, installation instructions, and content included in the purchase.

9.2 Right of Withdrawal

Where applicable consumer law grants a statutory right of withdrawal, that right applies subject to the conditions and exceptions established by law.

For digital content supplied without a physical medium, customers may expressly consent to the immediate commencement of digital supply before the end of the applicable withdrawal period.

Where required by law, customers must also acknowledge the resulting loss of their right of withdrawal, and MDT must provide the relevant contractual confirmation.

The availability of a download link, by itself, does not automatically eliminate statutory withdrawal rights.

Where applicable, the loss of the right of withdrawal requires the customer’s prior express consent, acknowledgment of the consequences for withdrawal, the legally required confirmation, and commencement of performance as defined by applicable law.

General acceptance of these Terms alone does not replace any separate consent or confirmation required by law.

The applicable right of withdrawal is lost only when all relevant legal conditions have been fulfilled.

9.3 Change-of-Mind Refunds

Once the applicable right of withdrawal has been validly lost, MDT does not generally offer voluntary refunds or exchanges solely because:

The customer changes their mind.
The customer decides not to use a conforming product.
The customer prefers another product.
The customer has not obtained a required dependency that was clearly disclosed before purchase.
The customer wishes to use an unsupported game version, where the supported versions were clearly disclosed before purchase.

These exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not limit remedies for non-conforming products, non-delivery, or misleading or incorrect contractual information.

9.4 Non-Conforming Products

Customers retain all mandatory remedies applicable to digital content that is not supplied or does not conform to the purchase agreement.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, these remedies may include correction, restoration of conformity, replacement, price reduction, termination of the contract, or reimbursement.

A complaint will be assessed on its individual circumstances and the contractual product specifications.

A subsequent game update or a customer’s preference for an unsupported game version does not, by itself, establish that a product was non-conforming at the time of its original supply.

This does not remove any mandatory obligations concerning updates or conformity arising under applicable law.

9.5 Technical Assistance & Refund Requests

Customers should contact MDT if they encounter a problem accessing or using purchased digital content.

MDT may request reasonable information to investigate a complaint, including:

Order number or purchase confirmation.
Account email address.
Product name and version.
Supported game version.
Description of the problem.
Relevant screenshots, configuration details, or game logs.

Technical troubleshooting is primarily conducted through the official MDT Discord support system.

Customers may nevertheless submit contractual complaints, delivery issues, and statutory conformity or refund requests by email or through the website contact form.

Nothing in this policy restricts rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

MDT aims to provide products consistent with the descriptions, requirements, and compatibility information applicable to each purchase.

MDT cannot guarantee compatibility with every third-party modification, unsupported game version, unofficial configuration, or software environment.

Changes introduced by the developer of the underlying game may affect previously functioning modifications.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MDT is not responsible for problems caused solely by:

Installation contrary to supplied instructions.
Incompatible third-party modifications.
Unsupported game versions or software configurations.
Unauthorized alteration of product files.
Duplicate or conflicting mod installations.
External software issues beyond MDT’s reasonable control.

Customers should maintain appropriate backups of important game profiles, save files, and configuration data before installing or updating modifications.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability, statutory conformity obligations, consumer guarantees, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

11. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS & COMMUNITY SERVICES

11.1 Community Spaces & Optional Content

Separation Between the Online Store and Community Moderation

MDT community spaces, including the official Discord server, are separate from the MDT online store and digital product licensing services.

Participation is voluntary and subject to the independently applicable community rules and moderation decisions.

MDT may restrict, suspend, or terminate community participation in accordance with those rules, including where conduct threatens community safety, integrity, or legitimate interests, subject to applicable law.

A community restriction or ban does not, by itself, cancel an existing digital product license or extinguish mandatory purchase-related rights.

The factual or legal basis required for a community moderation decision may differ from that required to restrict an existing paid license.

Customers excluded from community spaces can still submit contractual complaints, delivery concerns, and statutory consumer requests through the official website contact form or by email.

MDT is not obliged to disclose confidential moderation methods or third-party personal information except where required by law.

Access to MDT Discord channels, community spaces, optional add-ons, bonus content, customer-only files, and community-related services may be subject to account verification and compliance with the applicable rules of those services.

MDT may establish separate participation requirements for optional community activities or benefits.

Such requirements are administered through the relevant community channels and do not automatically modify, replace, or terminate the rights associated with a purchased digital product.

Separately distributed optional content and community services may be restricted or discontinued where permitted by the applicable conditions and law.

11.2 Discord Integration

The MDT website may allow users to connect their website account to Discord for community-related services.

Where authorized, this integration may process relevant Discord information, including:

Discord user ID.
Username.
Server nickname.
Relevant server membership and role information.

Such information may be used for identification, customer verification, community role synchronization, support eligibility, security, and related functions, to the extent lawfully justified and transparently described in the Privacy Policy.

Any processing of third-party community information for anti-abuse or anti-leak purposes must likewise have an appropriate lawful basis and comply with applicable data protection requirements.

Verified purchases may be used to determine eligibility for customer-related Discord roles, dedicated channels, technical support, and separately distributed content, subject to the relevant conditions.

Discord roles do not independently transfer or terminate product licenses or purchase rights.

Users may disconnect their Discord account using available account functions or request assistance through MDT’s official contact channels.

MDT is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discord Inc.

11.3 Technical Support

Ordinary technical support for MDT modifications is organized through the official MDT Discord support and ticket system.

Customers may be required to verify their purchase and obtain the appropriate verified customer role to access dedicated technical support channels.

MDT does not undertake to repair or maintain independently developed third-party products.

Account, payment, delivery, legal, and statutory conformity complaints may be submitted directly by email or through the website contact form.

11.4 Email Communications

MDT uses professional email and communication services to deliver order confirmations, account notifications, purchase-related information, and other transactional messages.

Marketing communications are sent in accordance with applicable consent and electronic communication rules.

Where consent is legally required, it must be obtained separately from acceptance of the purchase terms.

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the available unsubscribe mechanism.

Processing of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

MDT may revise these Terms to reflect changes in legal requirements, business operations, products, services, technology, or website functionality.

The current version will be published on the official MDT website with its applicable update date and, where appropriate, a document version identifier.

Changes to website rules and future purchases may apply from their stated effective date.

New Terms do not automatically replace the contractual conditions applicable to previously completed purchases.

Changes affecting existing contractual rights or ongoing services will be made only where permitted by the applicable agreement and mandatory law, with any notice or remedies required by law.

14. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION & CONSUMER RIGHTS

These Terms and any contractual disputes arising from the purchase, licensing, or use of MDT digital products shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, subject to applicable rules of private international law and mandatory consumer protection requirements.

Except where mandatory jurisdiction rules provide otherwise, any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived, including the right to bring proceedings before other competent courts, contact public authorities, or use legally available dispute resolution procedures, where applicable.

Product-specific compatibility requirements, included content, and mandatory dependencies disclosed before purchase also form part of the relevant purchase agreement.

The EULA governs the scope and conditions of the product license, subject to mandatory law.

The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how MDT collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information, including information processed through customer accounts and supported third-party integrations.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Where a contractual provision conflicts with mandatory applicable law, the mandatory legal provision takes precedence.
