Digital Product License Agreement (EULA)

M Design Truckstyling S.R.L. (MDT)

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Introduction

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) governs the use of digital products developed, published, or lawfully distributed by M Design Truckstyling S.R.L. (“MDT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through the official website:

Official MDT Website

This EULA establishes the rights, permissions, restrictions, and obligations associated with the use of MDT digital products.

By purchasing a digital product, customers agree to the license conditions validly incorporated into the relevant purchase agreement.

For products made available free of charge, the applicable license conditions are those communicated through the authorized distribution channel.

This EULA supplements the MDT Terms & Conditions.

Product-specific descriptions, compatibility requirements, mandatory dependencies, and additional conditions disclosed before purchase form part of the relevant agreement.

Nothing in this EULA excludes or restricts mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable law.

2. Grant of License

Upon lawful acquisition and supply of an MDT digital product, the authorized customer receives a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use that product for its intended purpose, subject to applicable mandatory law.

For purchased products, the license is associated with the legitimate purchaser and the corresponding purchase record.

This license permits the customer to:

  • Download the product through authorized MDT distribution channels.
  • Install and use the product in a compatible game environment.
  • Use the product for personal gameplay.
  • Configure and customize the product using its intended features and supplied customization materials.
  • Retain reasonable personal backup copies of lawfully downloaded files.
  • Download updates made available to the eligible purchasing account under the applicable conditions.

Purchasing a digital product grants a right of use, not ownership of its intellectual property.

The license does not authorize redistribution, resale, transfer of protected product files, or provision of copies to unauthorized third parties.

Unless expressly stated in the product description, MDT products do not require separate license keys, external activation software, or permanent online authentication during ordinary gameplay.

The license remains subject to the applicable contractual conditions and any lawful termination provisions.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

MDT retains all intellectual property rights in the original digital content it develops, including, where applicable:

  • 3D models and vehicle components.
  • Accessories and customization parts.
  • Textures and original visual assets.
  • Configurations and technical definitions.
  • Lighting systems and related components.
  • Original designs and other protected materials.

Products developed or licensed by independent third parties remain subject to the intellectual property rights of their respective creators and rights holders.

Third-party trademarks, game assets, brands, logos, and other independently owned content remain the property of their respective owners.

Purchasing an MDT product does not transfer any copyright, trademark, design right, or other intellectual property ownership to the customer.

Customers may not claim authorship or ownership of MDT’s protected digital assets merely because they have purchased, installed, configured, or modified a product.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by their respective rights holders, subject to applicable law.

4. Permitted Use & Personal Backups

The authorized customer may download, install, configure, and use MDT products for their intended purpose in compatible game environments.

Customers may retain reasonable personal backup copies of lawfully downloaded product files.

Such backups may include earlier product versions obtained legitimately before they were replaced by subsequent releases.

Backup copies may be retained for the customer’s own licensed use, including continued use with previously supported game versions.

Personal backups must not be distributed, sold, gifted, uploaded, transferred, or otherwise provided to unauthorized third parties.

Customers may use the customization features, configurations, and templates supplied with a product for their own permitted use.

Creating personal configurations or modifications does not authorize the redistribution of protected MDT files, models, textures, or other assets contained in those modifications.

Permission to use an MDT product does not include permission to redistribute its original or modified product files.

These conditions do not restrict backup, interoperability, or other rights and exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Prohibited Activities

Unless expressly authorized in writing by the relevant rights holder or permitted by mandatory law, customers may not:

  • Share, resell, redistribute, trade, gift, or transfer MDT product files to third parties.
  • Upload or reupload MDT products to unauthorized websites, servers, file-hosting services, or mod-sharing platforms.
  • Include MDT product files in public or private mod packs, custom launchers, or unauthorized distribution systems.
  • Provide purchased product files to other users through Discord servers, Virtual Trucking Companies (VTCs), gaming communities, or other groups.
  • Offer MDT products as prizes, rewards, giveaways, incentives, or membership benefits.
  • Extract, modify, or repurpose protected MDT content for unauthorized redistribution.
  • Present MDT products, models, textures, accessories, or other protected components as their own creations.
  • Sell, distribute, or provide unauthorized access to MDT products through third-party services.
  • Share account credentials or download access for the purpose of allowing unauthorized persons to obtain licensed products.
  • Knowingly facilitate unauthorized copying, sharing, resale, or redistribution of MDT content.

These restrictions apply to original product files and modified copies containing protected MDT content.

Changing file names, modifying configurations, combining product files with other modifications, or making alterations to protected assets does not automatically create authorization to redistribute those materials.

Unauthorized redistribution may constitute a violation of this EULA and applicable intellectual property laws.

These restrictions do not override mandatory legal exceptions or rights available under applicable law.

6. Communities, Servers & Virtual Trucking Companies

A personal MDT product license does not authorize the distribution of purchased files to members of a Virtual Trucking Company (VTC), Discord server, gaming community, or other third party.

Customers may not knowingly facilitate, organize, promote, or participate in the unauthorized distribution of MDT digital products.

The use of points, rankings, rewards, giveaways, membership benefits, or other incentive systems does not authorize the redistribution of commercially licensed MDT content.

Communities that knowingly facilitate unauthorized distribution, or officially collaborate with unauthorized paid-content distribution networks, may be relevant to investigations into suspected license violations.

Mere membership in a third-party community does not, by itself, establish that a customer has personally redistributed MDT products.

Suspected or confirmed violations involving unauthorized distribution are governed by Section 7 of the MDT Terms & Conditions.

Participation in MDT community spaces and access to optional community services are governed separately by the relevant community rules.

Community participation decisions do not automatically modify, replace, or terminate an existing paid product license.

Official MDT partnerships require public confirmation through an authorized MDT communication channel.

7. Digital Delivery, Account Identification & Verification

MDT digital products are supplied electronically through the authorized customer account or another officially approved distribution channel.

A purchase may be associated with:

  • An order number.
  • A registered customer account.
  • The email address associated with the purchase.
  • A product identifier.
  • Download and delivery records.
  • Internal purchase or license verification information.

MDT may use reasonable and proportionate technical and administrative measures to:

  • Verify legitimate purchases.
  • Protect authorized product distribution.
  • Detect suspected unauthorized sharing.
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Investigate suspected license violations.
  • Protect customer accounts and website infrastructure.

Such measures must comply with applicable data protection requirements and the MDT Privacy Policy.

Customers may be asked to provide reasonable purchase information when requesting technical assistance, restoration of download access, or verification of previous purchases.

Products purchased through previously supported sales platforms may be recognized where the original transaction can be verified and an applicable migration or distribution arrangement exists.

Unless expressly specified, MDT products do not require permanent internet access or continuous account authentication for ordinary in-game use after lawful installation.

8. Product Updates, Previous Versions & Technical Support

8.1 Supported Game Versions

MDT digital products are developed for the game version or versions expressly identified in the applicable product description.

MDT primarily develops and maintains its products for currently supported game versions.

Compatibility with unsupported previous versions, future game releases, experimental versions, or unspecified third-party modifications is not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

The developer of the underlying game may introduce technical changes affecting the functionality of previously compatible modifications.

MDT does not control the development, release schedule, or technical changes introduced by the game developer.

A purchased product must conform to the compatibility information and other requirements applicable to its original supply, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.

8.2 Compatibility & Maintenance Updates

MDT may release compatibility and maintenance updates intended to:

  • Maintain or restore functionality with supported game versions.
  • Correct technical issues.
  • Adapt products to changes introduced by the game developer.
  • Adjust technical parameters and configurations.
  • Maintain the functionality of existing product components.
  • Improve stability or performance.

Changes introduced by the game developer may affect file structures, technical definitions, vehicle configurations, accessories, lighting systems, or other components.

Restoring compatibility may therefore require substantial modifications, development, and testing rather than a simple adjustment of the supported game version.

The release, timing, scope, and technical feasibility of future compatibility updates may vary between products.

MDT does not guarantee a compatibility update for every subsequent game release, except where updates are contractually promised or required to maintain conformity under applicable law.

8.3 Feature & Improvement Updates

MDT may release updates introducing:

  • New accessories and additional 3D components.
  • Additional customization options.
  • New configurations or functionality.
  • Visual improvements.
  • Performance enhancements.
  • Other improvements to existing products.

Feature and improvement updates are developed and released at MDT’s discretion, unless specific features or updates were expressly promised or are required by applicable law.

A single product update may combine technical compatibility adjustments, maintenance corrections, and new or improved features.

When MDT releases an update for an eligible purchased product, it is generally made available without an additional purchase, unless a separate commercial release or other arrangement has been clearly disclosed.

8.4 Future Updates & Limitations

Purchasing an MDT digital product does not constitute an unconditional promise of:

  • Unlimited future updates.
  • Indefinite development or maintenance.
  • Compatibility with every future game version.
  • Permanent support for obsolete game versions.
  • New accessories or additional features.
  • A guaranteed schedule of future releases.

Not every product will necessarily receive an update for each subsequent game version.

Different products may require different development and testing periods, and some products may become technically difficult or impracticable to maintain.

These provisions do not exclude updates required to maintain contractual conformity, obligations expressly promised at the time of purchase, or remedies required by applicable consumer protection law.

8.5 Replacement of Previous Versions

When MDT publishes an updated product version, the previously available downloadable file is normally replaced by the latest available release.

MDT does not routinely maintain or provide a customer-accessible archive of earlier product versions.

Newer releases may no longer be compatible with older game versions, particularly where changes introduced by the game developer require modifications to the original product.

Customers are encouraged to retain reasonable personal backup copies of previously downloaded product versions for their own licensed use.

Customers who continue using an older game version should be aware that a compatible previous MDT release may no longer be available for download.

MDT does not undertake to restore, recreate, or provide obsolete product versions solely because a customer prefers to use an unsupported game release, unless required by the applicable purchase agreement or mandatory law.

Replacing an older downloadable file does not eliminate statutory conformity obligations or other mandatory remedies associated with the original purchase.

8.6 Download Availability

Eligible purchasing customers may access the currently available downloadable versions of their products through the official MDT website, subject to the applicable contractual conditions.

Unless expressly promised otherwise, the product license does not include a guarantee of permanent website hosting, unlimited online storage, or indefinite availability of all historical product files.

Requests concerning previously released versions may be assessed according to verified purchase records, technical availability, the original purchase conditions, and applicable legal obligations.

Where a particular file or corrective measure is legally required, MDT will address the request in accordance with those obligations.

8.7 Technical Support

Ordinary technical support for MDT products is primarily provided through the official MDT Discord support and ticket system.

Customers may be required to verify their purchase and obtain the appropriate verified customer role to access dedicated technical support channels.

MDT may request relevant configuration information, game logs, or testing on a clean game profile to investigate reported technical issues.

MDT does not undertake to develop, repair, or maintain independently created third-party modifications.

Customers may submit contractual complaints, delivery issues, payment concerns, and statutory consumer requests directly to MDT by email or through the official website contact form, independently of Discord access.

9. License Violations & Account Restrictions

Where credible evidence indicates suspected fraud, unauthorized redistribution, or another material contractual violation, MDT may investigate the relevant account and transaction.

Depending on the circumstances, the seriousness of the conduct, the available evidence, and applicable law, measures may include:

  • Temporary account reviews.
  • Additional purchase verification.
  • Restrictions on future purchases.
  • Temporary security measures.
  • Restrictions on discretionary services or separately distributed optional content.
  • Restrictions on future downloads or updates where legally permitted.
  • Copyright enforcement or other appropriate legal proceedings.

Restrictions must be based on relevant evidence and assessed proportionately, taking into account applicable contractual duties and mandatory legal safeguards.

MDT is not required to disclose confidential security methods, personal information belonging to other users, or non-public investigative material, except where legally required.

A restriction or ban from an optional community does not automatically terminate a customer’s existing license to use lawfully purchased and downloaded MDT products.

Similarly, a website account restriction does not, by itself, extinguish mandatory consumer rights arising from completed purchases.

Termination of an existing product license requires a valid contractual or legal basis and must comply with applicable law.

Customers may contact MDT to request clarification or review of an account restriction.

Nothing in this section excludes mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

10. Refunds, Withdrawal Rights & Consumer Protection

Digital product purchases are governed by Section 9 – Refund & Returns Policy – Digital Goods of the MDT Terms & Conditions, including provisions relating to digital delivery, statutory withdrawal rights, product conformity, and applicable remedies.

Where permitted by law, the customer’s express consent to immediate digital supply and acknowledgment of the resulting loss of the right of withdrawal must be obtained through the applicable purchasing process, together with any legally required confirmation.

Acceptance of this EULA alone does not automatically eliminate statutory withdrawal rights.

Nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts mandatory consumer rights, legal conformity requirements, or remedies for digital content that is not supplied or does not conform to the purchase agreement.

A license violation, account review, or community restriction does not automatically eliminate mandatory rights concerning a completed purchase.

Terms & Conditions – Refund & Returns Policy, Section 9

11. Third-Party Software, Dependencies & Compatibility

MDT products may require Euro Truck Simulator 2, additional modifications, or other compatible software, depending on the product description.

Certain products are add-ons requiring separately purchased or downloaded MDT or third-party modifications.

Mandatory dependencies and supported configurations must be clearly identified in the applicable product description before purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, required third-party modifications are not included in the purchased MDT product.

An add-on designed for a specific vehicle, trailer, or modification does not automatically support other products, alternative models, or unsupported configurations.

Customers must follow the applicable installation, dependency, and compatibility instructions.

MDT does not control the availability, development, updates, or future compatibility of independently created third-party software.

The use of third-party games and software remains subject to the terms and licenses established by their respective providers.

MDT is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by SCS Software unless expressly stated.

Nothing in this section excludes MDT’s own mandatory product conformity obligations.

12. Changes to This Agreement

MDT may revise this EULA to reflect changes in legal requirements, products, licensing conditions, technology, or business operations.

The current version will be published on the official MDT website with its applicable update date.

Updated license conditions may apply to future purchases from their stated effective date.

Changes affecting existing purchases or licenses will apply only where permitted by the applicable contractual agreement and mandatory law.

A newly published EULA does not automatically replace or retroactively modify the licensing conditions applicable to previously completed purchases.

Where legally required, customers will be informed of material changes affecting existing contractual rights.
